Week 6 of college football did not disappoint. The Red River Rivalry was one of the best games of this decade, Georgia proved they were number 1, Top teams almost got scary upsets, Louisville proved their worth in a packed ACC, and Mario Cristobal almost got himself fired. But, let’s take a look at week 7. These matchups are the most intriguing they’ve been.
The Tigers season has ended following the second round of post-season play. The Central Red Devils proved to be an unstoppable force Friday night when Auburn traveled to Garret-Harrison Stadium. We had several other great match-ups across the state. Region 2 and Region 3 continued to run the show with only one outlier remaining in 7A.
With season-enders across the region, last Friday took Auburn to Panther Stadium. Auburn took on Smiths Station in a 7A region matchup. Taking the short trip east, the Tigers were well-represented and had quite a game before their playoff debut.
