The counseling department will host a FAFSA assembly for seniors in the auditorium on Wednesday, September 21st during 2nd block (10:00 am - 11:00 am). The name of the program is Alabama FAST and a speaker from Auburn University Human Sciences Extensuon will provide information about what the FAFSA is, why it's beneficial to complete it, facts/myths etc. In 2021, ALSDE implemented a new FAFSA graduation requirement as part of the graduating senior's transition into postsecondary education, training, or the workforce. Seniors are highly encouraged to attend this assembly, but it is not mandatory. A pass will be issued to each student at the end of the program as prof of attending and students will submit it to their teacher upon returning back to class.
There will be a Key Club Meeting on Wednesday, September 14, at 3:35 p.m. in the AHS Cafeteria. See AHS's Ms. Audra Welch, Science teacher, with questions!

To ensure names are spelled correctly, everyone must fill out this form. This form is the only way to guarantee your name will be spelled correcty in the yearbook. Teachers cannot complete the form for students. The link is below:
