THE ALABAMA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION SUPER 7 STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS are one of the most exciting and highly anticipated sporting events in the state. Each December, over the course of three days, the final two teams from each of Alabama’s seven classifications (1A through 7A) compete to be crowned as the new state champions.

Each year, the event alternates between the three largest football facilities in the state, the University of Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium, Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium, and newly built Protective Stadium in Birmingham. After hosting the event in Birmingham for the 2021 season, the AHSAA looks forward to being back in Auburn for this year’s event November 30th through December 2nd in 2022.
